Wi Spa (LA) versus I-Spa (OC)
I absolutely loveeee going to Korean Spas! If you’re wondering if you should check out Wi-Spa or I-Spa, then I gotchu.
WI SPA (LA)

Wi Spa is one of the most well-known 24/7 Korean spas in Los Angeles. Valet parking is available for $4 (cash only as of 2025), so be sure to bring some bills for that. After check-in, the entire spa operates cashlessly--you'll use your wristband to scan for purchases and pay upon checkout.
The spa is spread over four floors and includes an outdoor lounging area, restaurant, children's zone, computer stations, and a gym. As with most Korean spas, there's a co-ed area with various hot rooms (like the ice and jade rooms) and gender-separated bathhouse sections.
I visited on Memorial Day and paid a $30 entrance fee. Keep in mind that pricing can vary depending on your check-in/check-out time. The spa was quite busy with families and kids until around 10 PM. After 11 PM, the crowd shifted more toward adults, travelers, and those winding down from a night out. Around midnight, the lights are dimmed, and many guests settle in with blankets or relax in the hot rooms--it becomes a very mellow atmosphere. Massage and body scrub services end around 9-10 PM, and the restaurant stays open until about 11 PM or midnight (sorry, I didn't catch the exact closing time).
I also checked out the gym, which stays open until 11 PM and is well-equipped. The restaurant prices are typical for casual dining: I ordered a roasted egg ($6), coconut water ($6), and spicy ramen ($11).
Overall, the spa was still relaxing, though not the cleanest--likely due to the holiday and 24/7 nature. It does get very crowded. That said, I really enjoyed the ice and jade rooms, and I appreciated the valet security--it made me feel safer walking to my car late at night. The staff at both the front desk and the restaurant were very friendly.
Wi Spa is a bit of a drive for me, and with so many other Korean spas in the area, I plan to keep exploring. Still, I'm glad I gave it a try--it was an interesting experience I don't regret.

I loved my visit to I-Spa. I went on a Monday from 4 p.m. until close, as the daily admission is valid for six hours. Be aware that if you stay beyond that, they may charge you again.
Parking is convenient with their own private lot.
This was my second time at a Korean spa. After paying in the lobby, you store your shoes in a shoe locker. Once you're changed and your belongings are secured in a locker, you're free to explore at your own pace.
The food at the restaurant was delicious, with a mix of regular tables, floor seating, and a water station available. I spent $10 for a 30-minute session on a massage chair before heading to the co-ed rooms. I alternated several times between the heated rooms and the ice room, eventually napping on the heated floors in the large common area. Later, I made my way to the gender-segregated bathhouse, where I relaxed in the hot, warm, and cold pools. I also took advantage of the steam room, sauna, and both standing and seated showers.
If you have personal preferences, I recommend bringing your own face mask and toiletries like shampoo, soap, razor, shaving cream, hairbrush, or hair mask. The spa does provide toothbrushes and a basic shampoo/conditioner/body wash set. Towels are provided, so no need to pack your own. I also brought my notebook, and I noticed a second lounge near the restaurant, which would be a great spot for working on things if needed.
MY OVERALL PICK: I-SPA
Personally, I liked I-spa more than Wi Spa. I prefer the layout of I-Spa, and I feel it’s cleaner. However, it is not 24/7. If you are traveling to LAX and trying to avoid booking a hotel, then I-Spa is too far. Hope this helps you in choosing which Korean Spa to check out :)
